Sub: Request for Voluntary Suspension from Causal Nexus

Dear Boss:

Apropos to the spat we had last night about the time wasted in trying to recruit her for the Organization, I hereby request you to suspend myself for the next 2 months period as a corrective measure for the same.

You always advised me that some will never oblige to emotions and those hard-nuts can never be cracked and it is better to leave alone those nuts than trying to recruit them for the organization. I always differed with this ideology of yours. I'm a strong believer that everybody has an Achille's heel till my beliefs got shaken by her.

Itz not that only she can be the right person for the job. Itz my desperation to prove an alternate way for causing the irreparable damage in anyone’s life. And Yes... also to secure my 100% success recruitment rate in my organization. Plus the icing on the cake would be, the story which she is trying to report that leads towards 'Causal Nexus' would come to an end.

I always tried my best to keep intact the ethos of the organization by adhering to your GOLDEN RULE.

Recruits should've undergone irreparable damage in their life in the recent times and the only irreparable damage in anyone’s life could be the unexpected death of someone close to their heart.

But if there is no chaos in any organization, it will become rigid n crumble. The challenge of change provokes creativity. As the Organization's assignments increased rapidly, I started to explore many options to bring new recruits. Many options to cause irreparable damage.

And finally!!! I chose love breakup. She chose to love him. And he chose to ditch her just before marriage. The society did the rest. Everything fell in place so beautifully. But the unexpected part was her firmness post breakup. Never ever met such a cold person in my life. Humans are supposed to break if their most loved ones ditch them. And she was truly, madly, deeply loved him. But she moved on in 6 months just like that. Unimaginable.

10 months of attempts by myself & the society to make her break. But none were fructified.

I couldn't resist but to admire her.

Sigh…

Now I realize that the only way to gain back your affinity is by proving you that the time invested in recruiting her haven’t went in vain. And also by proving you that the alternate way I chose for irreparable damage was never a bad option. And I got these 2 months to do it.

Needless to mention that I always carry high regards for you since our first encounter in the loony bin and I owe you a lot for helping me to escape from the institution and giving me this job. Now its time for me to repay my debt.

See you again with my 100% success rate in recruitment for the Organization.

Yours devotedly
The Prime Recruiter.

Episode: Another Love Story, Yet so special

Should I??? or Should I not???

What if she didn’t reply??? What if she says I’m busy??? What if she asks who is this??? But What if she replies back with the same HI…

And it happened in the much loved way. The first few days of our chat was enough to realize that we like each other. Enough to comprehend we won’t be just two competing journalists anymore. Enough to fix our first date.

And the date arrived. The date which I’m gonna cherish for the rest of my life. Venue:  the most serene place on earth.

Exchanged smiles and pleasantries.  But most of the time was spent in silence. A silence in which we discovered the love we had on each other which we never expressed. At the outset, we became good friends on the first date. A few days passed in finding rather creating a reason to meet again. And the next date arrived in the same venue. The Good became best. Smiles increased and the distance reduced. We never wanted to part. Like us the good times and the hard times too.

She always appeared to me like a beautiful sad poem. I fell for that. But never thought that there was a real sadness attached to her. And when she revealed it, I actually didn't bothered about it. Her troubled past is just another sentence heard from the beautiful voice. It was not just a bygones be bygones feeling. But because of the admiration I had on her. Though the fact hit me hard, all I felt was a sorry for the agony she had. It drew me closer towards her. But the fact is a fact. She never wanted to break the shackles laid on her by the goddamn society. And she said 'that's reality'. Who could expect such comment from the most rationalist mind. My good times and the hard times married each other.

We found heaven when we held our hands and walked. We wish that road should end nowhere. But the reality chased us from behind.  We know well that we never gonna win this race. But we never wanna give up so easily. We walked fast and tried to stay away from reality. But somewhere inside me keeps on saying that why can’t the reality be changed.  For everyone’s good. But she thought the other way. She enjoyed the company of hard times. And I remained clueless admiring the cute sad poem.

The road was leading nowhere. But we both know it might end any moment. We had no option but to stop there and stay there. That’s our only way to stop that road from ending. We stopped right there. We stopped talking from each other. We stopped meeting from each other. We stopped walking. We stopped kissing. We stopped hugging. But our hands were still held close. The affection we had reached the saturation level at that moment and stayed there along with us. Nobody could find a reason for what we did. We might took a chance. Perhaps that road will go for a while. Perhaps the reality might leave us and walk back.

But What if…

Successfully completed 365 sleepless, peaceless, happyless days.
Still longing for the warmth of her tender arms. The thought of changing the reality aroused again making my days & nights more terrible. Reached the serene place alone for the 1095th time to relish my memories. That’s my only cure. A car which was about to leave from the parking transited who meant my life. Probably she also could be searching for the same cure. The resistance which handcuffed me for the past one year vanished today for no reason. Was it for good or to make it worse than ever???

My legs walked towards her without my instruction. Making her notice me is just clearing my throat away.

Should I??? or Should I not???
